I painted this image of Boris Karloff as the Creature from the 1931 movie, "Frankenstein". I wanted to make it a gritty image while still retaining the likeness of Karloff. I did this when I was participating in RetroSupply's "FrightFall" drawing challenge. The prompt was "Frankenstein" and I thought this was a perfect solution to that.
